share the madness :: Miaow. 11:23 pm

Cigs: 6, though probably 7 by the time I finish this.
Excuses: 6, maybe 7
Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: 1
Times poked with a crab: 2, both my crab, and my fault

Today I saw Cats (which was the aforementioned Webber musical... just in case you're ignorant) and it was pretty cool. I played Mr. Cheeky by wearing my Les Miserables (not Webber, you ignoramus) tee-shirt. I felt so bad, so bad.

Cats was cool, though. Not as good as Les Mis, but it's different. I mean, Les Mis is a dramatic story, while Cats is just a very long intro to a wierd story about cats. It introduces different types of cats for 2 and a half hours... but no complaints. I got autographs and spoke a little with some of the cats. Not while they were onstage, of course. I was too far away.

Project Aries is under way. Of course, there are a few more cigs today than yesterday, but not as much as usual, so I'm still doing good. My excuses?
1) it was 3pm, and I'd gone without all day. Cig to celebrate
2) Waiting for Cats to start. Was nervous, because the last Webber musical I saw sucked so much (don't ever, under any circumstance, watch Phantom of the Opera...)
3) it was half time, everyone was smoking. I thought it was a requirement if we wanted to get back in. I didn't want to seem suspicious.
4) Cats was over, was afraid of the real world (and of seeing my cat again, to be honest)
5) after dinner, the crab attacked me. Needed unwinding.
6) was home, hiding from cat. Celebrated arrival home despite Dad having drunk wine and 2 beers at dinner, then driving home on the motorway.
7) seven times six is forty-two. this is my nod to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If you don't get the joke, read the book.

Speaking of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I recently found out that it was soon to be released in movie form. Principal photography wrapped in August, and it should come out in 2005. Martin Freeman is playing Arthur Dent. Can't imagine anyone better suited. The only thing worse than leaving Earth as it's being blown up and getting stuck in space for 5 books is having to work for David Brent. If you don't get this joke, read the book and watch The Office. And make sure to read the credits.

As for Project Aries, I've thought this out. 'Anon.', whichever of the anon-dots he or she is is a step behind me. To simply look at the left of the screen would reveal my birthday to be March 15 (I expect cards and money) which makes me a firm and fanatical Pisces, which would be the last on my list. To those in the Zodiac-know, Pisces is also the last sign, so my order isn't just narcicism. It still is a bit, though.

That wraps it up for today... it's been a tough day. Because I was skipping school, I had to wake up at the crack of noon which was definitely tough. So now I'm pooped. Tomorrow is my last day of school for this week, then it's MUN untill sunday, when I have rehearsals. I may not have a life, but at least it's a busy non-life.

Be good, don't listen to me,
Geert

Here comes number 7.
Douglas Adams, my thoughts are with you.
Rest In Peace.
Have a smoke.

Of course, my excuse for 7 cigs instead of 6 is dumb because as 7x6=42, so does 6x7 (sure, that's the only reason why it's dumb), so, to redeem myself, I'll say it's because se7en is a cool as 3 day old shit. It's tough, too.
