Let me begin by saying, happy new year. I didn't write before because, well, I was having a good new year and didn't feel the need to tell you all about it. And then I had mocks start...
Today Jonny went back to Pooni. I never write back to his emails, so I'm hoping an honourable mention on my site makes up for all that. Last night we went over to his place for dinner. Very nice goodbye, but we'll see him soon. Only so much school left...
The mocks have started, and I had a nice surprise on monday afternoon with my first one: english a1 paper 1. Unseen commentary... all I can do for that one is hope I get a poem I like. I like prose too much to want to tear it apart in a commentary. But the poem... oh, the poem. It was no likey. I hated it, it was crap, and I think I was the only person who chose it. Everyone else went for prose... I'm pretty sure I got a shitty grade. The rest have been good, though. Yay. I have maths in like an hour, so we'll see how confident I am then.
I've been fucking about in Photoshop and I came up with some cool pictures of Zack, so I might get those up here one day. Photoshop is nearly (mind you, I said nearly) as good as Lego. So much potential for fun... Tonight, I'll probably be a little drunk, so I can make some cool pictures.
Update on the Tsunami Information: 156,000 dead, though more are expected. And then the diseases will claim more lives... some good news though. What was once just a measly $15 million from the US has grown to a whopping $350 million. Not too shabby, but with America's power, maybe they can do more... sure, it's more than I've given, but I'll never stop dissing the US. I like them too much... and the global donations are approaching $9 billion, with Australia as the winner of the 'Who's Nice' competition, donating AUS$1 billion. As for school fundraising, Jess tells me she's going to start work on raising money in Dominic's, and we in Julian's are going to do our bit. Global Issues have been taking money from cars (they asked first, of course) and I think, in 3 days, they've made like just under €4000. Not bad. We thesps in Julians are going to put on a play of some sort sometime, raise more money. And people say acting is useless...
I've had some wierd dreams recently... here's a tip: if you want wierd dreams, sleep in the afternoon. Turn on a heater if you have one. The warmer you are in bed, the wierder the dreams get. Anyone, a couple days ago I got home early and I was so tired I went to bed at like 4pm.... when I woke up, four hours later, it felt like I'd lived for years in my dream. It was magical... makes me want to try shrooms.
I suggest you try it, and I suggest you donate money. The info on how to is in the previous post, or you can just give to Global Issues, or Jess, or me. Can't promise that money I get will be given to the right people, though... smokers need all the spare change they can find.
This is all I'm writing. My wrist hurts. Exams are bad for me. Evil, evil people make up exams. Exams were the devil's wet dream.
